Physical fitness used to be a pastime for Larry until more and more friends began asking his opinion concerning their fitness regime. Larry has a keen interest in helping the novice athlete create a complete workout program. Each client’s program is uniquely structured to meet his or her needs and goals, all the while emphasizing resistance (weight) training, cardio respiratory endurance and flexibility. Larry also enjoys working with seasoned athletes who have reached a plateau and need extra assistance in program modification.
Larry is a certified personal trainer through the National Academy of Sports Medicine (NASM) and the American Council on Exercise (ACE). He is also a medical exercise specialist, certified through the American Academy of Health, Fitness and Rehabilitation Professionals. As a medical exercise specialist, Larry is certified to do post-rehabilitation work and helps clients improve joint stability, improve functional flexibility and endurance, reduce the possibility of re-injury and improve overall functional capacity.
